Blue Brilliance

When Lamborghini announced they were to make an SUV many thought the company had sold its soul and it couldn’t possibly live up to what a Lamborghini is all about. The outlandish angular styling, exotic colours and brash loud exhaust note was not something that the current line-up of SUV’s could offer. Then the news seemed to get worse, the familiar V10 and V12 naturally aspirated engines synonymous with their current models were to be replaced by their first ever turbocharged engine, not a great start.

Lamborghini fans needn’t have worried. What followed was what Lamborghini claim as the world’s first ‘Super-SUV’, something that is every bit a Lamborghini and for the company a sales phenomenon. The brand have announced just this week that they have sold their 20,000th Urus in just 4 years of production, 60% of their total sales. An incredible feat for a company that just 15 years ago sold just over 2,000 cars a year. It isn’t hard to see why it sells in large numbers. Not only is it styled like a Lamborghini should be, it also sounds every part a raging bull, yet also manages to be comfortable, refined and capable of being used every day. It also had that Lamborghini trademark of looking fantastic in whatever bright colour you can imagine.

Our exceptional 2021 Lamborghini Urus is finished in stunning Blue Eleos metallic and features contrasting Elegante bi-colour Bianco Polar and Nero Ade leather interior with contrasting Bianco Polar Q-Citura stitching.
