Our Weekend Edit newsletter is a chance to get to know a bit more about the cars we have in stock. From facts and details you perhaps didn't know about the cars, to what they are like to drive and why they were the perfect choice for our showroom. From the cars we have featured this year, we asked you to vote for our Car Of The Year 2020 via our social media channels and, after a close fought battle between two cars in particular, the winner has been chosen - the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. It was a close fought battle between the DBS and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS but in the end the Grand Tourer from Gaydon was the victor.
The DBS is a very special car indeed and has been a firm favourite amongst the Alexanders staff since it arrived in the showroom. The looks, the comfort, the power, the desirability; it has it all and so much more. It may have performance and handling as a focus but the DBS is so luxurious and comfortable as you'd expect from Aston Martin.
Not just a pretty face or a gentle cruising machine, the DBS produces 715 bhp from its twin-turbocharged 5.2 litre V12 engine and can effortlessly accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and onward to 211 mph. Our Lunar White Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has an extensive list of options and has covered just 1,000 miles.
