There are many ways to customise vehicles these days and an abundance of companies who are very successful offering this as their sole service, so much so that some manufacturers now offer this same facility themselves in-house. For customers, merely selecting a colour, trim level or some of the many accessories for a car sometimes just doesn’t quite go far enough, and for those who are looking to add a unique twist to their Range Rover, there is the Special Vehicle Operations department.
Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations was created after they realised many of their customers are looking to make their car just that little bit extra special and are prepared to spend a lot for the privilege. The creation of the SVAutobiography and SVAutobiography Dynamic showed potential customers what they were really capable of when they put their expertise and finest craftsmen to work, creating something even more opulent and luxurious at the very top of the Range Rover model line-up. They created cars that come with almost every optional extra as standard, from hot stone massage seats, 1700W audio systems, touch screen rear entertainment, integrated refrigerators, executive class reclining seating, even power folding picnic tables and accompanying branded champagne glasses.
But for those looking for something even more unique, Special Vehicle Operations let you customise your SVAutobiography even further, starting with the most visible part of the car; the colour. Often luxury car colours are a blend of blacks, greys, beiges and dark blues, designed to make the car look subtle and reserved. The SVO paint palette throws that idea out of the window with vibrant colours such as Spectral Racing Red, Velocity Blue, Valloire White Pearl and Madagascar Orange. Using techniques Land Rover call ‘tri-coat technology’ and an effect called ‘ChromaFlair’ these paint colours not only look different shades depending on the angle they are viewed at, but also have a metallic shine that really makes the car stand out from the crowd.
If choosing a special SVO Premium Palette colour wasn’t unique enough, the SVO Design Pack is sure to make your SVAutobiography Dynamic stand out just that bit more. Thanks to a redesigned front bumper, redesigned rear bumper with integrated squared-off quad tail pipes, new side vents, side sills and a bespoke grille all with Graphite Atlas trim and accent lines, it gives the car a more athletic and aggressive appearance, yet retains the luxurious sophistication you’d expect from a Range Rover. Together, the SVO paint and SVO Design Pack not only make your car unique, they also enhance the look of the car and provide a level of opulence and grandeur to the exterior that match the sumptuous luxury that the interior exudes in plentiful supply.
Our stunning 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic comes with the SVO Design Pack and is offered in SVO Premium Palette Madagascar Orange with diamond stitched Ebony and Cirrus leather interior. 22” five split spoke diamond turned alloy wheels and a contrasting Santorini Black painted roof complete the exterior look. Inside, carbon fibre trim, semi aniline leather seating, a panoramic sunroof and leather headliner are merely a luxurious expectation once you notice the Executive Class reclining comfort seating, Signature Entertainment pack with rear seat entertainment, 10” touchscreen monitors, digital television and wireless headphones, whilst the centre console refrigerator, domestic plug sockets and hot stone massage seats are welcome surprise inclusions. With just one previous owner and just 6,500 miles covered, this car also comes with a Land Rover manufacturer warranty until December 2021.
