Some cars seem to suit particular colours or colour combinations especially well, seeing certain models in a certain shade just seems to look ‘right’. Think of a Ferrari in Rosso Corsa, an RS Audi in Nardo Grey, a Jaguar or Aston Martin in British Racing Green, the list goes on and on. Some are iconic for motorsport heritage and tradition reasons, some suit the styling and design of the car. For Lamborghini however, the historically brash nature of the cars and their exotic styling mean that bright and bold colours have always sat well with the Italian marque. A quick search for images of a Miura in Lime Green, a Countach in Siviglia Rosso or a Diablo in ‘Lambo Thirty’ purple evokes some of the most iconic models in the company’s history and the colours to match.

Bright colours and Lamborghinis go hand in hand and to reiterate the fact, Lamborghini themselves have released specific models of their Urus model to commemorate this. The Urus ‘Pearl Capsule’ is introduced with ‘a selection of exclusive pearl paints and style elements that embrace the bright colours of Lamborghini tradition’. Colours such as Verde Mantis (Bright Green), Arancio Borealis (Bright Orange) and Giallo Inti (Bright Yellow) show the aggressive styling and design flair of the Urus off perfectly.

Inside the bright theme continues with matching two-tone interior leather and Alcantara schemes to mirror the exterior colours. Together with hexagonal contrasting stitching (or Q-Citura as it’s called) also matching the leather colour. The standard trim finisher also gets an upgrade to the small carbon fibre package and black anodized aluminium trim inserts meaning the already exceptional interior is looking its best.

The blend of bright exterior paintwork and matching interior leather shouldn’t work on such a premium car. It should be too much, too ‘in your face’ and something that you’d expect to find on the modified car scene, yet on the Urus it fits perfectly. Lamborghini have managed to capture an element of their tradition and history that doesn’t look out of place even with their most modern of vehicles, if anything it enhances the already outlandish design of their current most popular selling model.
