Car Of The Week – Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992.2)

If you’re any kind of car enthusiast, we don’t need to tell you what Porsche do best. The SUVs make them plenty of money, which is important, but the Porsche 911 is all about. The GT3 is reasonably straightforward too, because across the Porsche lineup, anything bearing the ‘GT’ moniker is harder, and faster. Anything with RS on the end means it’s even more so, and most likely more at home on the track.

The GT3 with Touring package, however, presents an interesting combination of abilities. No rear wing that looks like it’s been borrowed from an aeroplane, but it also has back seats. It’s available both with a manual and a PDK, too.

Year: 2025

Mileage: 200

Colour: Oak Green Metallic Neo

Interior: Exclusive Manufaktur Two-Tone Black and Cognac Leather

Let’s talk about specification though. Touring Package includes swapping the fixed rear wing for an extendable version. Tailgate grille with a GT3 touring logo and the iconic Gurney Flap. Inside, any Race-Tex is exchanged for leather and there are a few more changes including brushed black aluminium trim and embossed Porsche Crest in the headrests. This GT3 has touring package in Black though, which includes side window trims, tailpipe trims and Porsche logo in taillight strip in Black.

There’s also plenty of carbon: exterior mirror upper trims, window triangle trims, and the entire roof, as well as the Matt Carbon Interior Package and carbon door sill guards. The everyday usability the Touring Package brings is helped out by the 18-way front seats, as well as the change from Race Tex to leather being made more obvious by the Exclusive Manufaktur extended leather package that covers items like the inner door sill guards, fuse box cover, interior mirror panel and air vents. Separate options mean that small details like the steering column casing and the cupholder trim is also in the same material.
