The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2) represents the ultimate naturally aspirated evolution of the 991-generation 911, developed by Porsche Motorsport with a clear focus on lightweight construction, aerodynamic performance and driver involvement. Powered by a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 513 bhp and 470 Nm of torque, it revs to 9,000 rpm and drives the rear wheels through a specially calibrated 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. The GT3 RS accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 193 mph. Compared with the 991.1 GT3 RS, the 991.2 introduces increased power, faster gearshifts, revised suspension spring rates and recalibrated rear-axle steering, delivering sharper responses and greater precision. Its development extends beyond outright speed, retaining the immediate throttle response and high-revving character that distinguish Porsche’s naturally aspirated GT models.

The wide body incorporates a prominent fixed rear wing, front wheelarch louvres and NACA ducts in the bonnet for front brake cooling, while carbon-fibre body panels and a magnesium roof reduce weight. Porsche Active Suspension Management, ball-jointed suspension links and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus provide the body control, traction and adjustability required for demanding circuit use. Inside, carbon-fibre full bucket seats, Alcantara trim, lightweight door panels with fabric opening loops and reduced sound insulation reinforce its motorsport-led approach. Combining a 9,000 rpm flat-six, rapid PDK transmission and a chassis developed around precision rather than outright power alone, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2) delivers a distinctly focused expression of the road-legal 911.
