The McLaren Senna, named so in honour of Ayrton Senna, the legendary F1 driver, uses a 4.0-litre V8 to produce 800PS and 800NM of torque. The McLaren Senna represents the most track-focused road-legal model of McLaren’s Ultimate Series, developed with a singular focus on circuit performance and named in honour of three-time Formula One World Champion Ayrton Senna. Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 789 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed Seamless Shift Gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the Senna accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 208 mph. Limited to 500 examples worldwide, it uses a carbon-fibre Monocage III structure and carbon-fibre body panels to achieve a lightest dry weight of 1,198 kg, making it the lightest McLaren road car since the F1 and delivering an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. Every element of the McLaren Senna prioritises aerodynamic performance, weight reduction and driver connection. Active front aerodynamic blades, a hydraulically operated double-element rear wing and a complex underbody generate up to 800 kg of downforce at 155 mph, while RaceActive Chassis Control II uses interconnected hydraulic suspension to vary ride height, spring stiffness and roll control according to the selected driving mode.
