The Porsche 718 Boxster T delivers a more focused and driver-oriented interpretation of the standard Boxster, combining the entry-level turbocharged powertrain with a series of performance-focused chassis and weight-saving enhancements. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged flat-four producing 296 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, paired with Porsche’s 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 170 mph.

“T” stands for Touring, and the model is designed to prioritise driving engagement over outright luxury. Compared with a standard Boxster, the Boxster T gains PASM sport suspension lowered by 20 mm, the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential, dynamic drivetrain mounts and 20-inch Carrera S alloy wheels as standard.

Visually, the T model is distinguished by Agate Grey exterior accents, model designation graphics and a centrally positioned sports exhaust, while the cabin adopts a more purist approach with Sport-Tex seat centres, GT sports steering wheel and lightweight fabric door pulls replacing conventional handles.

The result is a lighter, sharper and more driver-focused version of the Boxster, offering an engaging mid-engined sports car experience that sits neatly between the standard model and the more powerful S and GTS derivatives.
