The Ferrari SF90 Spider represents the open-top evolution of Ferrari’s first series-production plug-in hybrid supercar, combining the performance and advanced technology of the SF90 Stradale with the added theatre of a retractable hard top. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 769 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, working alongside three electric motors to deliver a combined 986 bhp. Paired with an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, the SF90 Spider accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 211 mph. Two electric motors power the front axle through Ferrari’s RAC-e system, while a third MGUK motor sits between the engine and gearbox, providing immediate response, torque vectoring and exceptional traction. The plug-in hybrid system also allows up to 15 miles of electric-only driving through the eDrive setting.

The aluminium retractable hard top opens or closes in just 14 seconds while the car is moving, transforming the SF90 Spider without compromising its extreme performance or high-speed refinement. Ferrari’s eManettino provides eDrive, Hybrid, Performance and Qualify powertrain modes, while electronic Side Slip Control, brake-by-wire technology and independent torque distribution across the front wheels give the car remarkable agility and control. Aerodynamic features include the patented shut-off Gurney, an active rear system that balances downforce and drag, together with vortex generators beneath the front of the car and carefully managed airflow around the engine cover. Inside, a curved 16-inch digital instrument display, steering wheel-mounted touch controls and a driver-focused cockpit showcase Ferrari’s most advanced interface of the period.
