The Porsche 718 Spyder RS represents the most extreme open-top interpretation of the 718 platform, combining the high-revving GT3-derived powertrain with lightweight roadster design and motorsport-focused chassis engineering. At its heart lies a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 493 bhp and 450 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with Porsche’s 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, delivering 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.

Derived directly from the GT4 RS, the Spyder RS features extensive weight-saving measures and a unique lightweight manual fabric roof system. GT-department chassis tuning includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), mechanical limited-slip differential, GT-specific suspension geometry and a wider track for exceptional precision and feedback. Aerodynamic optimisation replaces the fixed wing of the GT4 RS with a distinctive ducktail-style rear spoiler, maintaining stability while preserving the car’s open-air character.

Inside, the driver-focused cabin features lightweight sports seats, extensive Race-Tex trim and minimal distractions.
