The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS represents the most extreme and track-focused interpretation of the Cayman platform, developed by Porsche’s GT division with extensive motorsport-derived engineering. Powered by the same naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six found in the 911 GT3, producing 493 bhp and 450 Nm of torque, the GT4 RS revs to 9,000 rpm and is paired exclusively with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, delivering 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. Compared to the standard GT4, the GT4 RS introduces significant aerodynamic, chassis and weight-saving revisions, including a swan-neck rear wing, front aero blades, lightweight rear glass and extensive use of carbon fibre. Air intake ducts positioned behind the side windows replace the rear quarter windows, dramatically increasing induction sound and engine airflow while defining the GT4 RS visually and acoustically.

Further enhancements include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), rose-jointed suspension components, revised spring and damper rates, and increased track width for sharper turn-in and greater high-speed stability. Weight reduction measures extend throughout the car, reinforcing its focused, circuit-oriented character. Inside, the cabin reflects its motorsport intent with lightweight bucket seats, Race-Tex trim, pull-strap door handles and minimal distractions. The result is one of Porsche’s most engaging modern GT cars - combining mid-engined balance, naturally aspirated performance and genuine track capability in an exceptionally focused package.
