The BMW M5 Competition (Ultimate Pack) represents the most complete evolution of the sixth-generation M5, combining supercar performance with the comfort, refinement and everyday usability of a luxury executive saloon. Powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 616 bhp and 750 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and rear-biased M xDrive all-wheel drive, it accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and reaches 189 mph with the M Driver’s Package included in the Ultimate Pack. The M xDrive system offers 4WD, 4WD Sport and a dedicated 2WD mode, allowing the M5 Competition to combine immense all-weather traction with the traditional rear-wheel-drive character associated with BMW M cars. Compared with the pre-facelift F90, the LCI introduced revised front and rear styling, updated LED lighting, a larger 12.3-inch central display and a new operating system with dedicated M Mode and Setup controls. The Competition specification adds a model-specific chassis setup, firmer engine mounts, a lower ride height and revised dampers developed using experience from the BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé, delivering improved body control, sharper responses and greater composure without compromising long-distance comfort.
