Finished in ‘For You’ Blue with a contrasting ‘A Hard Days Night’ Grey roof, this Mini Remastered by David Brown Automotive is presented in immaculate condition, with a beautifully finished grey leather and textile interior by Garrett Leather. Registered as a 1997 Mini Cooper 1275, it was comprehensively rebuilt by David Brown Automotive in 2020. A brand-new British Motor Heritage bodyshell was de-seamed, strengthened and soundproofed before undergoing the company’s meticulous four-week, hand-applied paint process. David Brown Automotive stated that more than 1,000 hours went into the creation of each Mini Remastered. The original 1,275cc A-Series engine was fully rebuilt and uprated to 1,330cc, complemented by extensively upgraded mechanical components and a manual transmission. Modern luxuries include air conditioning, electric windows, remote central locking, keyless push-button start and a 7-inch Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The front of the car is also protected by paint-protection film. Its provenance is particularly notable, having previously formed part of the private collection of Anthony Hamilton, father of seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton.

Costing more than £95,000 to complete and having covered 500 miles from new this car also comes with a rare David Brown Automotive-related registration number.
